Ship Hector Foundation
Created in 1992, the Ship Hector Foundation consists of citizen volunteers who raise funds for the construction, maintenance and operation of the Ship Hector. The Ship Hector does not receive subsidies or annual funding from government or agencies. While sales at the Ship Hector Company Store and admissions to the site are a vital source of funds, the Foundation actively seeks funding partners, sponsorships, and donations to ensure the continued vitality of the Ship.
